Ensemble Fosters Lifelong Skills Through Dance
Designed for dancers between ages 4 and 12, Ensemble focuses on both technical development and character-building. Dancers receive instruction in core styles such as ballet, tap and jazz, and may also choose to explore hip hop, contemporary or musical theater. Through weekly rehearsals and performances, students build confidence, form friendships, and experience the joy of performing as part of a team.
Why Ballet, Tap & Jazz Are Essential to Ensemble Training
These three styles are the foundation of every Ensemble dancer’s weekly training. They support balance, rhythm, body control and coordination.
- Ballet builds alignment, strength, and grace.
- Tap develops rhythm, timing and musical awareness.
- Jazz boosts agility, energy, and stage presence.
Together, these styles provide a well-rounded base for performance and continued technical growth.
How Hip Hop, Contemporary & Musical Theater Enrich Ensemble Dancers
While optional, these styles add creative depth to a dancer’s training. Each one supports expressive movement and versatility on stage.
- Hip Hop builds musicality and grounded movement.
- Contemporary encourages storytelling through motion.
- Musical Theater blends acting and dance for full-stage chrisma.
Exploring additional styles helps dancers discover their artistic voice and become more confident performers.
